The Ferrari 849 Testarossa is one of the wildest models ever to come out of Maranello, blending classic design cues with the latest cutting-edge technology. Inside the new Testarossa, luxury and functionality go hand in hand, with a driver-focused cockpit meant to deliver a truly special experience behind the wheel. With that, let’s take a look at what the new Ferrari’s interior is all about. The dashboard of the 849 Testarossa strikes a nice balance between classic GT styling and racing-inspired cues. It stretches out horizontally, with a slim upper portion that features a floating digital display designed to be easy on the eyes. The air vents sit within an exposed aluminum frame, while a contrasting strip across the center houses the main controls and the passenger display. Notably, there’s no traditional central infotainment screen. Lower down, the cabin is defined by two sculpted ā€œsailsā€ that give the interior its signature look. Between them sits the iconic aluminum shift gate, virtually floating in place—a clear nod to Ferrari’s heritage as well as the F80. The steering wheel brings back something fans have been waiting for: real physical buttons, including a proper mechanical start button. The digital instrument cluster is easy to customize, with driving modes—including the electrified ones—managed via the ā€œeManettinoā€ dial. Tech-wise, everything you want is included. The Testarossa has Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, MyFerrari Connect, and a wireless charging pad built right into the center tunnel High-quality leather, soft-touch surfaces, and hand-finished aluminum trim give the cabin a premium feel. Every detail is designed to look great and work flawlessly, right down to the physical controls for the doors and windows. Honestly, the seats deserve an entire breakdown of their own—they’re that good. But we'll save that for another day. Buyers can choose between two seating options: the comfort seats or the more hardcore racing seats. The comfort chairs have a cleaner, more understated look while remaining sporty. The racing seats, meanwhile, take it up a notch with a more aggressive design and larger bolsters for added lateral support when you’re really pushing the car. The 849 Testarossa is strictly a two-seater, with the interior clearly designed around the driver. The seating position is low and immersive, but it doesn’t feel uncomfortable or overly demanding. As for storage… there’s not a lot. The trunk is about what you’d expect from a supercar like this.
