Tyler Reddick drove to victory lane on Sunday night in the Daytona 500. He grabbed the first Daytona 500 win for 23XI Racing, a team co-owned by Michael Jordan. And the celebrations went viral…In victory lane, Reddick climbed from his car and poured water on his son as he stood on the roof of the car. There may have been ice in there as well.Moments later, Jordan was seen pulling on the shirt of Reddick’s son. The theory is that Jordan was attempting to get ice out from under his shirt. But, that’s only a theory. The clip has grabbed the attention of the internet. Jordan is getting bashed for grabbing the butt of the child. However, the father doesn’t see it that way…Initially, Reddick was refusing to comment on the video. However, he has since elected to speak on it.“From my perspective, I’ve gotten to know Michael and his family very well over the years I’ve been here with 23XI, and I don’t see what other people see when it comes to this,” Reddick stated via The Stephen A. Smith Show on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio“For me, it’s a huge moment; this is the biggest moment of my career.”“It’s a huge moment for my family and for his family, and I just put that off to the side and think about the look on (Michael Jordan’s wife) Yvette’s face and the whole family and his whole group when they got to victory lane too, and just how happy everybody was celebrating together. So, that’s where I’m at with it.”Daytona 500 Race Results: February 15, 2026 (NASCAR)What is Michael Jordan doing 😭😭😭 pic.twitter.com/sVZeTGGgXINASCAR star Tyler Reddick wasn't in the mood to weigh in on the viral moment in victory lane at the Daytona 500 between his young son and Michael Jordan, with a rep stepping in to shut down the question today in NYC. pic.twitter.com/2jW3h2uJBzTyler Reddick | Daytona International Speedway | NASCARCategoriesTags
