    Former racing driver and automotive journalist Chris Harris delivered an impressive performance in the Mustang Challenge Le Mans InvitationalAt the recent Mustang Challenge Le Mans Invitational, former racing driver and automotive journalist Chris Harris delivered an impressive performance in the high-octane Dark Horse Stars class, proving yet again his skill behind the wheel. In the weekend’s first practice session on Thursday, Harris and Olympic legend Sir Chris Hoy secured a top-five time in the No. 77 Academy Motorsport Mustang Dark Horse R, an impressive feat in the fiercely competitive 39-car field. Harris took the wheel for Race 2 of the inaugural Mustang Challenge Invitational and showcased his racecraft in style. Starting 31st on the grid overall, he powered his way through the field to finish an outstanding 12th overall and 3rd in class, earning a well-deserved podium in the Stars category. It was a performance that combined strategic driving with outright pace on one of the world’s most iconic circuits. This strong showing on the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe adds serious momentum heading into the UK’s most anticipated modified and performance car event, TRAX Silverstone, 31 August 2025.
