Drivers urged to spend £15 at Asda before Wednesday

Drivers across the UK are being urged to spend £15 in an Asda Express store before Wednesday to bag a bargain fuel offer. The supermarket chain has been running a money-saving deal on fuel across its Express stores since December 1, but the offer is due to come to an end on December 31, giving drivers just three days left to cash in on some big savings. Up until Wednesday, drivers who spend £15 or more on groceries in an Asda Express store can get 3p off per litre of fuel at the same time. Asda has almost 500 Express stores across the UK, and the fuel offer means drivers can save on the pumps while picking up supplies for New Year's Eve celebrations. Asda is urging customers to take advantage of the offer before it ends this week to help save some pennies as the festive season comes to a close. To claim the fuel discount, customers simply need to spend £15 or more inside an Asda Express store between now and Wednesday, December 31, before paying for their fuel and shopping at the till. Asda said its Express stores already match prices on certain everyday essential items, including bread, milk, chicken fillets, beef mince, cheese and some fresh fruit and vegetables, with its larger supermarkets. As such, the retailer said customers can still get the same value they’d expect from a bigger Asda store while also taking advantage of exclusive Express store deals. Asda Express stores are also stocked with an array of seasonal goodies, including: Joseph Sutton, vice president Asda Express, foodservice and fuel, said: “The festive period can be an expensive time for us all, as we make extra journeys to see our loved ones. Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions, and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time.
