    NASCAR is testing the 750hp package at North Wilkesboro

    Later this year, North Wilkesboro will host the first points paying NASCAR Cup Series event at the track since 1995. And, they’ll be circling the 0.625-mile oval with 750HP.On Tuesday January 13th, North Wilkesboro Speedway will host a test session for the NASCAR Cup Series. The session will see the new 750-horsepower package in use.NASCAR rule changes announced for the 2026 seasonFans are able to access the grandstands and watch the test. It will take place from Noon-5pm. Practice can be viewed for free without a ticket.Additionally, the box office will be open. Fans who attend the test will be granted first access to single-day tickets for the race later this year. Weekend tickets, premium ticket packages and camping are currently available.
