The Grand Tour Is Back With Three New Hosts

The Breakdown: The Grand Tour returns in 2026 with three new hosts. The hosts are trainspotter Francis Bourgeois and YouTubers Thomas Holland and James Engelsman. Six new episodes will air sometime later this year.   The Grand Tour lives on. Amazon Prime Video has announced three new hosts for the beloved motoring show—and it appears last year’s rumors were true. Heading the next installment of the series is trainspotter and influencer Francis Bourgeois, as well as YouTubers Thomas Holland and James Engelsman.   Holland and Engelsman host the Throttle House YouTube channel, which has 3.4 million subscribers. Bourgeois is the train-loving social media star with nearly 6 million followers. The trio will host six episodes, which hit the streaming service globally later this year.   Holland, Engelsman, and Bourgeois will replace Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May, who ended their hosting duties in September 2024. Just before the last episode aired, Amazon announced the show would continue with new hosts.   Clarkson participated in the announcement, appearing in a short clip "selecting" the new hosts on The Grand Tour’s Instagram page. Studio Lambert is producing the series. Clarkson, Hammond, and May dissolved their production company, W. Chump and Sons, after leaving the show.   Holland said in the announcement, "When I first heard they were rebooting The Grand Tour and replacing Clarkson, Hammond, and May, I said ‘only a moron would take that job.'"  Motor1’s Take: The Grand Tour isn't a show about cars. It’s about the camaraderie they create, regardless of whether you’re driving million-dollar supercars or questionable hoopties you bought for a few hundred bucks. The cars don’t really matter—it’s the memories, and who you make them with, that do, and that kind of natural chemistry that entices viewers is hard to create. We wish the new hosts the best of luck.
