Polaris Keeps The Price, But Slips In Something Luxe For 2026

by Michael Gauthier Polaris debuts 2026 Slingshot with new Grand Touring trim. Starts at $41,999, features two-tone exterior with a Slingshade. Base model remains priced from $24,999 in the United States. Polaris introduced a facelifted Slingshot last year, and now the three-wheeler is rolling into 2026 with a handful of relatively minor updates. While most of the changes fly under the radar, the flagship Grand Touring has returned to the lineup. Starting with the limited edition, it features a two-tone exterior that blends Viper Black with Green Venom. The model is also notable for having a color-matching rear fender and Slingshade with tinted T-Top panels. Buyers will also find a ventilated sport hood as well as GT and Grand Touring badging. They’re joined by a Rockford Fosgate audio system and an XKGlow interior lighting kit. The model also has “Limited Edition” badging as well as a 7-inch infotainment system with GPS navigation and Apple CarPlay. Since the Grand Touring is based on the Slingshot R, it features a 2.0-liter ProStar four-cylinder engine developing 204 hp (152 kW / 207 PS) and 150 lb-ft (203 Nm) of torque. It can be connected to either a five-speed manual or an AutoDrive transmission. Pricing starts at $41,999 and climbs to $44,149 for GTs equipped with the AutoDrive gearbox. The Grand Touring will be offered in “limited quantities,” although there’s no word on hard numbers. New Colors And Wheels Putting the Grand Touring aside, the 2026 Slingshot SL, SLR, and R offer several new paint colors. The SL gains White Lightning, Blue Rush, and Sunburst Orange, while the SLR gets Blue Rush and Mirage Gray. Likewise, the R offers Midnight Smoke, Radiant Gray with Red Indy Pearl, and White Crystal with Mint Fade. Rounding out the highlights are new five-spoke honeycomb wheels on the SLR and R. The forged aluminum rims measure 18 inches front and 20 inches rear, and have a gloss black or machined finish. The 2026 Polaris Slingshot will begin making its way to dealerships later this month, and pricing starts at $24,999. That’s unchanged from last year, and all variants appear to hold the line on pricing.
